Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jsonify Playlist ("Service", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service Does
Jsonify Playlist converts Spotify playlists into JSON format. You can download the resulting JSON file or export it directly to your Google Drive. The Service uses the Spotify Web API to read playlist data; it does not modify your Spotify library in any way. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify AB.
2. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, circumvent the credit system, or violate these Terms.
3. Credits and Payments
How credits work
Exporting a playlist costs 1 credit per song. Credits are drawn from three pools in this order: free credits first, then subscription credits, then purchased (permanent) credits.
Free credits
Every account receives 20 free credits on the 1st of each month. Unused free credits do not carry over to the following month.
Purchased (permanent) credits
Credit packs are purchased via Polar (our payment processor). Purchased credits never expire. All sales are final — credits are non-refundable once added to your account.
Subscription credits
Active subscribers receive a monthly credit allocation (5,000 credits for Monthly; 6,000 credits for Annual). Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Up to 1,000 unused subscription credits roll over into your permanent credit balance on each renewal.
Subscribers also receive 100 bonus permanent credits with each billing payment as a loyalty reward.
Super users
Certain accounts designated as "super users" by the administrator may export playlists without consuming credits. This status is granted at our sole discretion.
4. Subscriptions and Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time via the Polar customer portal (accessible from your Settings page).
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Your subscription credits remain active until the cycle ends; they are not refunded or prorated.
Your purchased (permanent) credits and free monthly credits are unaffected by cancellation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Automate requests to the Service in a way that places excessive load on our servers or the Spotify API
- Resell, transfer, or otherwise commercialise credits or access to the Service
- Attempt to circumvent the credit system or exploit bugs to obtain free exports
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Spotify's Terms of Service
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service beyond normal use
6. Intellectual Property
The JSON output you generate belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your playlist data. The Jsonify Playlist software, branding, and website design are owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, data accuracy, or compatibility with all Spotify playlists.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or loss of credits due to account termination for Terms violations.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
